Compact power equipment on civil engineering jobs everywhere is increasingly powered by diesel engines. The Industrial Engines Department supplies its small and compact diesel engines to power such equipment.

The Large Engines Department is responsible for marine propulsion engines and for marine auxiliary medium speed diesel generators with a power range up to 3310 kW.

The activities of Yanmar Europe are divided among three departments: Industrial Engines, Large Engines and Spare Parts. Activities concerning marine engines for yachts and small craft are concentrated in Yanmar Marine International.
